Just what is reality?

This is renown physicist David Deutsch, who may have just proven the existence of parallel universes (see story at NewScientist.com - subscription required). Even if he never does anything else, I think this video of him explaining the universe from the big picture perspective is already worth a Nobel Prize. You can visit David Deutsch's homepage here.

The most satisfyingly funny podcast out there

I haven't been blogging much because I took time off to reorganize my home office. When I'm cleaning and sorting that much paperwork and scraps, I like to listen to lots of podcasts, and I was very happy to discover the most absorbing and entertaining show I've heard in a long time:

"Guys With Feelings" is the funniest show I've heard in a long time, and it's not just because the hosts, Jason Nash and Jeff Bumgarner, are comedians. It's because they are unflinchingly honest about their lives, and Jason in particular has done lots of dumb things that he's not afraid to talk about. It's like hanging out with a great group of guys that you knew back in the day and now you've found out they moved next door.

Not only are they funny themselves, but they're friends with a lot of funny people. They have guests you probably won't find on any other show. I heard a particularly candid conversation with Mary Lynn Rajskub (24, Mr. Show), and an episode with Paul F. Tompkins impersonating Lee Majors had me laughing so hard I spit coffee on my lap.

Plus they've had conversations with very funny film directors (Adam McKay, Harry Elfont, Bob Odenkirk) and other friends in the entertainment business. And they are always genuinely having fun, talking about everything and anything that seems to come their way.

Okay, I realize now I can't do this show justice. It's so unique that I can't do it justice by trying to explain it here. Go to GuysWithFeelings.com for the whole story, and click here to subscribe to the podcast in iTunes.

Video demo of the touch screen I'd love to have

I would put this multi-touch screen in my home if I had the means... and a home. This is the same stuff Apple appropriated for their iPhone, and I think it's really the most exciting part about the whole concept. Jeff Han is an original thinker (as this article from Fast Company explains), and I hope he gets the credit (and the $$) he deserves for this technology. I'd be honored to have a cup of coffee with him any time.
